Marie Amaro has been passionate about architecture since childhood. Born in Vietnam and raised in Belgium, she grew up speaking French and Vietnamese, which gave her a multicultural perspective that deeply influences her vision of architecture. With a background in both Business Administration and Architecture, Marie brings a unique and diverse skill set to her role at MGPA Architecture.

Before transitioning into architecture, Marie worked as a business and marketing consultant, where she developed and implemented strategic initiatives to help businesses achieve their goals. Her passion for design and the built environment ultimately led her to return to school, where she earned a Master’s degree in Architecture.

​

With more than 14 years of industry experience, Marie has contributed to a diverse range of commercial, industrial, and educational projects, guiding projects through all phases from pre-design and planning through construction and closeout.

​

As an Architectural Project Manager at MGPA Architecture, Marie serves as the primary point of contact and lead coordinator for projects throughout all phases of design and construction. Representing MGPA at every level of project delivery, she works directly with clients, consultants, contractors, agencies, and internal teams to guide projects from initial planning through completion while maintaining both design intent and project objectives.

Marie is responsible for overseeing project coordination, consultant management, client communication, scheduling, technical documentation, and construction administration. She plays a central leadership role in facilitating collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, resolving complex project challenges, and ensuring projects progress efficiently, accurately, and successfully through each phase of development.

​

Marie is also very proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, which supports the development and coordination of comprehensive project documentation and visualization throughout the design process. Known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and collaborative leadership style, Marie is committed to creating thoughtful, functional, and well executed environments that positively serve clients and communities alike.
