MARIE AMARO
Project Manager
Marie Amaro is an Architectural Project Manager at MGPA Architecture with more than 13 years of experience in the architecture and construction industry. Born in Vietnam and raised in Belgium, she brings a multicultural perspective to her work and is fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese. With degrees in both Business Administration and Architecture, Marie combines design, technical knowledge, project management, and business experience in her approach to project delivery.
Before pursuing architecture, Marie worked in business and marketing, where she developed experience in strategy, client communication, and business development. Her longtime interest in architecture and the built environment later led her to earn a Master of Architecture and begin her architectural career.
At MGPA Architecture, Marie leads projects through all phases, from early planning and schematic design through design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, construction administration, and closeout. She serves as a primary point of contact for clients and plays a central role in representing MGPA throughout the life of a project.
Marie works closely with clients, consultants, contractors, agencies, and internal project teams to coordinate project requirements, schedules, technical documentation, and construction. She leads multidisciplinary consultant coordination, facilitates project meetings, manages construction administration, and works through complex design and field issues to keep projects moving forward.
Marie is proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite and uses these tools to support design coordination, documentation, visualization, and project delivery.
